S.T.U.N. Runner
-
Before I start a new build, I am curious if Stun Runner is playable on a PI 4. It struggles on a PI 3. Tried it on Mame2003 and ADVMame 1.4.
Thanks for your help :)

@challenger2010 game runs fullspeed (60fps) on my overclocked pi 4 (2ghz CPU). I didn't test at stock speeds.
-
@quicksilver Thanks for testing!!!!! Much appreciated, now I know that I can probably get it working too with some tweaking :)
-
On my normal clocked Pi 4, the game also runs at fullspeed (59.96 to 60.04) with the
lr-mame2003-plus
emulator. -
@Clyde Thanks! That’s the emulator I was going to use too!!! Getting ready to start a multi game that uses Alan-1 yoke controls. Should be fun!
-
@challenger2010 I have to admit though that I didn't test the gamee thoroughly. I only watched the demo mode and played the first level.

@Clyde That’s fine, I just needed to know there is hope to play it. I remember when it was first emulated and I had to buy a top of the line computer to play it. Stun Runner was always my baseline to know how fast a computer was. My multi build is more based around Star Wars games so Stun Runner will actually be a nice bonus if it works. Thanks again!
