I have successfully managed to set option to RANDOM on setting/screensaver and it works fine and shows random videos from my games while it is idle.

So now my question is somehow edit somewhere the script that is responsible for a screensaver or something that will set a single video or a collection of videos instead of showing all videos randomly? One cool idea is instead of being fully random, show random videos of only favorites games.

I have a very big collection of videos and some games are not very cool, so I want a screensaver to show only my favorite games.
      Is this possible?

Any guide what file to edit, where to start?

      Thanks!

At the moment, the video screensaver doesn't have this capability, it will always play one of the scraped videos from the list of all games.

@crash21 Yes, it should be possible, though it's not a single line change. EmulationStation's source code is up on Github, at https://github.com/retropie/emulationstation/.
