      Pi Model: 2B
      RetroPie Version Used: 3.8.1
      Built From: Binary
      USB Devices connected: None
      Controller used: Logitech F310
      Error messages received: None
Guide used: (Mention if you followed a guide)
File: (File with issue - with FULL path)
      Emulator: NES and SNES

Just did a binary update from Retriopie settings from 3.5 to 3.8.1.

When I went to play my NES and SNES games the in game saves were not showing up.

So I checked the roms folder for both NES and SNES and sure enough the .srm files are there. They are dated from February this year (been awhile since I played)

Did the default emulators change in 3.5 to 3.8.1? Could that be causing the issue? Do I just need to change the emulator back?
Does 3.8.1 look for the .srm files in a different location now other then the rom specific folders for each system?

      Thanks!

I'm not sure buildthat this can cause the issue. Retropie >3.6 are Debian Jessie systems
Up to 3.6 the Debian system based an Wheezy.
So I think all emulators were new build/compiled for Jessie... as I mentionend perhaps this causes your issues?

Thanks @cyperghost. I figured out that I had to switch the emulator to nestopia to get it to show up.
