I've used the Samsung EVO Select series of micro SD cards with no booting, access, or corruption problems at all.

Has anyone use the Samsung EVO Plus series with success? They are quite a bit cheaper and I can use some smaller cards for OS swaps.

System Config: Retropie 4.4 with full desktop, RPi 3B, 256gb SD, 5v 2.1A 5,200 mAH USB battery. EasyMSX controller mounted with Pimoroni Hyperpixel 4 (non touch). Also running 4.6 on a 4gb Pi 4 serving as my primary desktop computer now.

@eric-coyler there's no difference. Select is just a rebranded name. I use plus but wouldn't hesitate to try select.
