Retropie and ds emulator

I’ve have pi 4 with Retropie installed working but no ds rom folder. I’ve read I need to install emulator. Anyone give me a step by step install emulator guide, trying all sorts nothings working

You can play ds games with Drastic emulator.
RetroPie => RetroPIe-Setup => Manage Packages => Manage Experimental Packages => Drastic (install from binary).

@Oxopi just be aware menu don't work correctly, menu, so if you have a pi3 set up your pad then grab your settings and put on pi4 so it is corrected.

@notthesame so that's how I have to configure the controller for now? I was trying to get it working but couldn't then found a thread that said it was currently broken but being worked on. That's good to know! I've got a spare pi3 (or four...) laying around I could use for the configuration. Where are the settings saved for Drastic?

@simpleethat if you install raspbian(pixel) on pi4 in retropie setup, then configure on desktop then when your done just play in retropie, I play from desktop for now cos my kids use some cheats.
Use keyboard to exit since or add your menu and press twice, but be careful not to enter a menu and get stuck, it happen to me and I reset my settings, hehe.Good luck
