    Custom Splashscreen Video Not Playing

      Hello,

      I'm fairly new to this, so I would really appreciate some help.

      I am attempting to run a custom splashscreen video, which is in a .mp4 video format. Using the finder network share on a Mac, I put the video in its own folder and put the folder in the splashscreen folder. In Emulation Station, I went to Retropie>Configure Splashscreen>Choose own splashscreen and chose the file. I then enabled the custom splash screen on boot and rebooted the system. During the loading sequence, the video never appeared.

      If this information helps at all, I'm using:

      • Raspberry Pi 3, overclocked to 4.5 ghz
      • RetroPie Version 3.6
