Dissimilar PS3 Clone Controller; Problems Pairing
-
Hi all I'm having a hard time getting some Clone PS3 controllers to pair via bluetooth on my clean install RetroPie 4.6 on a RasPi 4B+
Like others, I bought 2x PS3 Controllers off ebay thinking they were official controllers only to find out that they do not pair when following directions for official controllers.
Then I come to find out that bootleggers have been producing somewhat convincing forgeries/fakes which is what i seem to have bought.
Researching more, I thought the community had these clones pretty much nailed down into two categories, the Gasia and the Shanwan, but when I did a dmesg and lsusb output on my controllers i did not get what other Gasia/Shanwan controller owners received as their output.
Can someone please look this over and offer any advice as to drivers or steps i need to take to get these to pair? I'm at wits end here... 😣 extremeley frustrated and feeling ripped off 😣...dmesg output and lsusb output are in the pasted/attached pics.
So far i have installed both the sixaxins AND ps3controller drivers as well as attempted to configure/pair both Gasia entries AND the Shanwan entry in the config list after installing the driver package. I do not know where to go next.
