Custom Bezel Overlay in Video Screensaver

I've been working on getting a seamless feel to a theme I've been working on. I have a CRT-like bezel that goes over each system as well as using the zfast_crt_standard shader for many systems. I also have a similar bezel that goes over screenshots/videos in my theme that has an effect similar to that of the zfast_crt_standard shader. The last place I would really like to get the same effect is in the video screensaver.
I think it would be an awesome feature to have the video screensaver grab whatever bezel overlay the game/system has configured in RetroArch and use that for the video screensaver as well and/or simply have the ability to set up a custom overlay to use.
Thoughts? Has anyone attempted this anywhere?
