      Hello and profound greetings to all!

      I'm in a real pickle here, I'm using retropie on an Odroid system I recently got and loving reliving some childhood especially on the PSX games, however I cannot for the life of me crack the disc swapping issue I have, advance warning I'm totally useless with computers and whenever I buy something I just hope it works without issues heh.

      I can't make use of the disc cycle tray status or disc index to swap as it only shows 1 disc and I'm unable to modify the files.

      I have tried the tutorial on using disc image append but something strange happens, I find disc 2 .cue in the directory and select it as instructed

      But when I select it as the tutorial shows it then moves to another file called PCSX-Rearmed (core)

      When I select this the system does a soft reset and it loads up disc 2 with no save game on memory card or save states., this is all Retroarch btw.

      What can I do? Is there something to disable or a way to activate memory card sharing across the games? I really hope someone can help out :(

        @raze84 i use CHDs for PSX MultiDiscgames. Just one entry in the gamelist and no problems with the save states.
        Only disadvantage: retroachievements does not support CHDs.

          @sirhenrythe5th how do I go about using a CHD on an Odroid? It sounds ideal and I'm not fussed about the achievement bit :)

            @raze84 As far as you are using Retroarch and the lr-PSXRearmed Emulator using CHDs instead of CUE/BIN should be no problem.
            The file format is not exlusive for a special Hardware, if it supported by the emulator it does not care if it runs on PCS, nVidia Shields, Odroids, mobile phones....

              @raze84 Can you add more info about your system, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first ?

              I remember seeing a bug in RetroArch when switching discs would reset the core - do you know what version of RetroArch are you using ?

                @mitu yes ofc my apologies!

                100 MB/s 16GB SD Card + 2TB HDD
                5V 2A power lead
                Retroarch version is 1.7.5 - PCSX-ReARMed r22 (read off the quick menu screen)

                That seems to be exactly what is happening, the core resets when i try to swap disc with the disc image apphend.

                  In this case, try to update the RetroPie packages, including RetroArch, and re-try to see if you get the same error.
