I asked about the Sega Model 3 games running on Pi

I have no knowledge on this but would like to ask

I came across this post mentioning someone got a Sega Model 3 Emulator /core working on a Pi 2 ( yes slow ) but working ... since that was 2 generations ago and now we're on the 4 ...

Can we expect an update on Sega Model 3 running a little better on the 4 ?

Hope it may be possible, would love to play some of those light gun Rail Shooters

Here is the link I came across

Can be compiled to work on pi4, and works on RetroPie with a bit of work, but is still pretty slow.

Thank you for taking the time to inform me

Bummer that it still runs slow

Hope one day we will have it running well on Pi one day

@escc1986 i'm sure it's possible to optimize the new 3d engine for the pi4, as the emulator itself is currently using the old 3d engine only for pi4... someone could modify the open-source supermodel code if they had the skill.
