Hi everyone, i'm trying to compile Retropie on a iMac G5, i've installed lubuntu 16.04 ppc64,

I cloned the git repo and start with

      sudo __platform=generic-x11 ./retropie_setup.sh

At the moment it fails at the N64 emulator MUPEN64Plus because I can't compile mupen64plus-video-glide64mk2.so

Is there a way to launch Retropie compilation without MUPEN64Plus ?

You can skip Mupen64plus, probably will not work on your CPU.
However, note that we don't test or support your particular system - other emulators might not be compatible and will not compile, and Ubuntu 16.04 is not supported anymore by RetroPie-Setup.

@sade even if you manage to build emulators, expect crash and/or black screen nearly everywhere, most emulators provide no support or only partial support for big-endian cpus
