I’m getting a github login when updating retropie. I updated the setup scripts, rebooted and reran the upgrade but still the same issue. I followed the last update from 5 months ago in this thread to update the retropie-manager.sh file.

      https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/23894/while-updating-retropie-i-get-username-for-https-github-com/5

      Here is my error:

You can't. The repository is gone unless you find someone that forked it, it's gone and nothing you can do about it.

Remove it, update RetroPie-Setup and reinstall.

@zerojay it's forked. But it requires reinstalling to install from the new location.

Is this an add on to retropie? I assumed it was a part of retropie itself, it’s been a long time since I installed retropie so maybe I forgot I added this?

@DNVB It's an add-on package, it's not part of the RetroPie-Setup script and it wasn't maintained by the project. Sometime ago, the original repository was deleted and we created a copy for it under the RetroPie project, so that it wouldn't disappear completely.
