Reicast standalone will not run even with md5 verified bios

Re: Reicast issues
Having the same issue as this guy referenced, I tried using source and pre-compiled binary. I made sure to place the bios in the correct directory with the correct name and correct case as per the docs. Before anyone asks, I did verify the checksum.
I have checked the runcommand log and I get
You need to copy the Dreamcast BIOS files (dc_boot.bin and dc_flash.bin) to the folder /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/dc to boot the Dreamcast emulator.
I have checked the location referenced in this log and the files are there.
I tried on both the Raspberry Pi 4 and the Raspberry Pi 3A+. Reicast standalone just simply refuses to recognize bios.
Pi model: 4B+, 3A+
Power supply: Retroflag Nespi4 case included power supply
Retropie ver: 4.6
Build from: Raspberry Pi Imager
USB Devices connected:- Nespi4 Case SSD to USB adapter (JCMicron)
- Nespi4 Case front IO USB hub
Controller: 8bitdo SF30 Pro (Bluetooth)
Logs: (in post)
Guide used: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Dreamcast/
File used: (not sure what this means)
Emulator: Reicast (standalone - source and binary)
Config: (none except for auto-gen controller files because the emulator wont start due to bios missing)
How to replicate: Install Reicast standalone with necessary files, try to run, that's it. -

Can you run - from the command line - the following command and post the output:
ls -l $HOME/RetroPie/BIOS/dc/dc_boot.bin

Please add more info about your system, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
Check if your BIOS files are correct (checksum) - see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Dreamcast/#bios. If the BIOS files are correct, then post the emulator's log file (
/dev/shm/runcommand.log
) to check for any errors. -

@tinkerbell1268 The BIOS files look ok, but I don't think you're using the latest Reicast version.

I tested,
if remove bios from /config/dreamcast/data 'start reicast' can be run but when press dreamcast bios , say : bios not found
I think this issue related to reicast when load bios.
Although I can't understand glGetError 0x500 and solve it -
anyway to run redream on rp 3?
-
@tinkerbell1268 If I try to run a similar file, I get:
... Loaded /home/pi/.reicast/data/dc_nvmem.bin as nvram chd: chd_open failed for file /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/dreamcast/sonic/Sonic Adventure v1.003 (1999)(Sega)(PAL)(M5)[!].gdi: 6 gdrom: Failed to open image "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/dreamcast/sonic/Sonic Adventure v1.003 (1999)(Sega)(PAL)(M5)[!].gdi"
which seems to indicate it's a bad disc dump or Reicast doesn't know how to load it.
Do you have another game to try ? -
when I change emulator from omx to oss , game run , but quit unexpectedly
-
@mitu
I tested "Vigilante 8 - 2nd Offense v1/Vigilante 8 - 2nd Offense v1.000 (1999)(Activision)(NTSC)(US)[!].gdi" don't run with omx but run with oss -
@mitu
my question is why Vigilante don't run on omx(default reicast)? -
