Retropie on Waveshare Arcade-101-1P Kit with Raspberry Pi 4
-
I have trouble with the Input device.
Everything works except the joystick and buttons.
I installed the HAT drivers as described in the Waveshare Wiki for PI3. The input device is also recognized instrikethrough textretropie, but I cannot assign the buttons. Does anyone have a solution. -
@me-now Please post the requested information about your setup as asked for in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first so everyone can see what you have connected. Without this info, help is impossible!

I use Retropie v4.6
I created a retropi image with the raspberry pi4 for the Arcade Kit Arcade-101-P. Everything works, except for the joystick and button control.
The HAT is correctly connected and the red LED lights up. I installed the drivers as indicated in Waveshare WIKI.
RETROPI also reports that the arcade joystick has been recognized, but the buttons cannot be set up after I pressed "A" on the keyboard.
Sound works too. Do you have a solution to the joystick problem. -
Try to test your joystick with
jstest
from the command line. Exit EmulationStation, then run:jstest /dev/input/js0
and see if you buttons/controls are registering. You can exit the test by pressing
Ctrl+C
on the keyboard.
