Run games from collection screen

Hey there,
Can't find any similar topic so I decided to create one.
I would like to modify MK1 Arcade 1Up cab to be as close to original as possible. I decided to pick up A1Up theme and I would like to have - similar as in genuine A1Up software be able to start game from collection screen. In total there should be 4 collections:
Mortal Kombat
Mortal Kombat II
UMK 3
Other arcade classics
Is it even possible to start game from collection screen in RetroPie?
