Get a verbose log for the emulator - as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Runcommand/#launch-with-verbose-logging - and post it on pastebin.com to take a look.

Also, add some details about your installation, as described in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

I don't see any attempt to save state in your log, but there's another error:

            ...

            [INFO] Saving RAM type #0 to "/home/tackskull/RetroPie/roms/snes/1 Rom hacks da giocare/Luigi's Misadventures 2 - Leviathan's Mania.srm".
            [ERROR] Failed to save SRAM.
            [WARN] Attempting to recover ...
            ...

which might indicate a permission issue.

Does your user have write permission to the ROM's folder ?

Open the /home/tackskull/RetroPie/roms/snes/1 Rom hacks da giocare/ folder as tackskull user and see if you can create a file there.

@Tackskull said in Can't save state, I can only load state:

                      AMD® A10-9620p radeon r5, 10 compute cores 4c+6g × 4

                      Screenshot from 2020-10-21 09-33-28.png

If I try to change Tackskull access files from "access files" to "create files and delete", the system get me back to "files acce", it seems I can't change Tackskull's permision to "create files and delete"

Edit: just for let you know I am running Ubuntu 20.1

I see you're running the ROM from an external disc, did you mount this manually or using the automated method ?
