Nintendo 64 no keyboard issue / how to use 2 keyboards as controllers

Hello.
I have successfully installed retropie on my pi .
It works well with the psx emulator but when i try to play Nintendo 64 games, the keyboard isn't recognized;
do someone know how to fix this?
I have tried to change the config file but i think i missed something . it still don't work.thanks a lot if you have the solution for this problem.
Secondly , i have got two keyboards , i would like to use them in order to play in multiplayer; for the moment the emulator recognise them as a single keyboard and i don't know how exactly i can change the config files to map some keys for the fist player and some other keys for the second player.
