      Hi all,

I'm currently running on 4.6 and want to update to 4.7.1. It looks like you can update from 4.7 > 4.7.1 by simply running the usual update scripts, but what about from 4.6? Do I have to start from a fresh build?

Interested to know how you all handle major upgrades, as I'm finding it a real nightmare to know exactly what to copy across to make sure I've covered everything - general config, system passwords, themes, overlays, shaders, core configs, registered Bluetooth devices, the list goes on and on!

      Thanks,

No, you can upgrade in place by running a normal update of the RetroPie Setup script and the included packages.

@mitu Amazing, thanks. I'll try this later and see if I can get everything updated
