      I've been hard at this for the last 4-5 days, but i can't get this to work.

      I've got a rPi4 4Gb model with official retropie running on raspbian buster.
      Installed amiberry from source and put bios files in bios folder + roms in roms folder (I'm using .lha format) on my usb hdd.

      Upon rebooting nothing is listed in retropie, so i installed nes, snes and psx using same method. They all show up.

      Checked my es_systems.cfg and ensured amiberry is listed and it is.

      The only thing I can't figure out is if it's mandatory to have the bios files named kick20.rom etc..? Wich ones do i rename, if so?

      Either way I find it funny that it doesn't even show up in emustation.

        Which es_systems.cfg file did you check ? Did you add a custom es_systems.cfg to your setup ?

        For Amiberry, I think it works without renaming them, just make sure they're the right BIOS files and they're placed in the BIOS folder/share.

          @mitu /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulation station/es_systems.cfg

          Why on earth would i add a custom .cfg??? That doesn't even make sense.

            Yet, the location of the file you checked indicates you do have a custom es_systems.cfg, by default there isn't one. How did you install RetroPie ?

                The default image doesn't contain the custom es_systems.cfg file that you have. It looks to me you did not use a default RetroPie image to install, given you say you've not added a custom configuration file.

                  @mitu so these aren't official retropie images found on this site; https://retropie.org.uk/download/ ???

                  NVM: solved it now. Didn't have parse gamelist off in settings.
