      I think we should provide a list with power supplies we use... just for other users

      I use a 1,5A 5V power supply for RPi3s ... it provides real 1,5A on 5,2V so it's enough to power up the Pi without rainbow box.

      Big advantage it uses a 230V power cord with double groove plug.

      So you can use this supply within your own designed case and use a short micro usb cable to connect with your pi.

      It's a Sony power adapter delieverd for the SONY PRS ebook readers. For 5€ it's a cheap deal...
