Daphne Joystick mapping

So - I got past the Daphne DL video issue..now I can't get my joystick to work. I have a "microcenter atari dual joystick / trackball" controller. it uses the Xin-Mo USB interface to my PI4. I run the jstest but can't make heads or tales of it. here is a screen shot of the output. The 4 readings in order are up, down, left, right.

After installing Daphne, re-configure your gamepad in EmulationStation again then see if the mapping works in Daphne.
