I've noticed that Dragon's Lair II has the on-screen joystick instructions (right, left, sword, etc.) defaulted to display, but Dragon's Lair I does not. Is that a special feature of DL II? I have all the other laserdisc daphne roms installed as well, and most of them have the on-screen instructions. Any idea about Dragon's Lair? Just curious. I know it takes some of the fun out of the game, but I'm lazy. :) Thanks!

Just to be clear I'm talking about the text overlay when you're supposed to move or hit an action button at the exact moment you need to hit it.

Dragons Lair 1 and Space Ace do not have overlay graphics. I think most of the others do. You have to look for the clues (flashes) built into the actual video.

@challenger2010 Yeah and even on Dragons Lair 2 the overlays go away after you get past the first level. After that you only get the visual queues just like in DL1 and Space Ace.
