I've installed retropie in Linux Mint 20.1 Xfce x64. When opening the application, most of the times it starts to blink like if its resizing in an infinite loop and the app crashes.
I ran it on the console to see the errors, and I get this error:

      f7a9dc0a-7336-4f55-8ccf-2277f3f8291c-image.png

This happen almost all the times I open the application. I have to open it many times until I have luck and it runs correctly.

Any help with this? Thank you so much!

What hardware are you using to run Linux Mint ? Are you using Wayland as display server ?

Did you ever have any luck solving this? I'm seeing the same on Ubuntu 20.04.
