Psychic 5 (Game) Rom doesnt run in Retropie

Hy.

Yesterday i installed the Retropie 4.7.1 (RPI 2/3) on a Rasperry Pi 2 Model B V1.1
Then i follow some instructions from the internet( create a folder on an USB Stick called "retropie" and so on...)

Basically the system works. I downloaded the game Super Mario Bros for NES (ROM), put the zip file in the folder NES ( which was created from the Retropie) and i played a little bit.

But the main purpose is to get run the 80s arcade game Psychic 5.
But in contrast to the Super Mario Bros. it doesnt work. The Retropie detects the game, but when i try to launch it, nothing happens.
I store the ROM in the folder arcade and tried also the folder Mame libreto (Pic4)
Then i restarted the EMUlation Station and the game is listed in the MAME or in the arcade(pic3)
I start the game and as with Super Mario World, pic1 appears. But in contrast to the Super Mario World, the game doesnt start and the monitor goes back to pic3.
Whren pic1 appears i can interrupt the system and an pic2 appears. i tried some different changes (select another EMU, launch ...)but nothing works. I have to say, most of the settings dont tell me much... :(

The same issue happens with Super Mario 64 for n64. That make me think that the issue is not with the ROM, but with genereal settings.
i also tried to anzip the files in the retropie folders...

Edit<. i am using a PS3 Controller, with Super Mario Bros it works very well. (except for the fact that i cannot get out of the game when i am playing....)

Maye some of you have made similiar experience and can help me.

Is psychic5jsupported by MAME2003? Which emulator lists it as "good"? I haven't heard of it. Which emulator are the roms setup for? Did you use CLRMAMEPRO to "make it compatible" with an emulators you have?

Nintendo64 games have given me trouble on the Pi3. Can the Pi2 run N64 games?

Linking to download sources is against forum rules, but learning and doing things yourself is definitely the right way to go as opposed to buying an illegal turn-key solution from somewhere on the web and then asking for help.

i downloaded psychic5 (just a single file .. psychic5j.zip) to test, and it works fine using lr-fbneo

thanks a lot. i am very happy to read that someone has got it.
last night i installed all additional emulators which are available. now i have more folders for ROMs on my USB. i put the psychic 5 rom in the new created folder mameadv mame and it runs.
but it only works with the keyboard and not with my ps3 controller. and i just can run left and right and i cannot find the correct keys for jump and hit.
any idea? But maybe tomorow i am able to play it, because i ordered a arcade usb joystick, maybe the ps3 controller does not work with this kind of game?!
