      I can't reproduce this, the auto-run seems to work fine with either C64 NTSC or C64C models (haven't tried other NTSC models).

      Is there a way to failback to 3.4? (Can't find a way to rollback)

      You need to modify the scriptmodule that installs vice (here) and add the branch/version/tag you want, followed by re-installing from source.

        I am on Raspberry Pi 3b plus. Have you updated from binary? I just installed a fresh retropie os, then added VICE and changed to NTSC and in drive "disable true drive emulation" and "enable virtual device trap" and saved settings and it fails to RUN after Autoload. Only happens in NTSC machines (any of them) :(

          @jalbarracin Yes, I updated from binary before testing. I had vice 3.4 before, not now it's 3.5. I'm using a Pi4, but I don't think that matters.

          What disc image (.d64) are you trying to run ? Can you post your configuration file (from \\retropie\configs\c64\sdl-vicerc) ?

            @mitu I tried jumpman, but I have a great collection of d64 files. I am no newbie. I am using retropie for some years and never had an issue. I know this has to be an issue with 3.5 for 3b+ as did a clean installation and when updated the problem continues. I am waiting for the rpi4 when it arrives I will test and confirm the problem with the 3b+

            Configuration file:

            [C64]
            MenuKey=293

              Looks like the 'True drive emulation' options is the culprit. If you turn it on, autostart works fine for NTSC. Could be something changed recently in VICE that affects autostart with these settings.
              I'll see if any changes recently fixed this.

                @mitu thanks yes! When I turn on it works ok. I think I will fix this adding a fast load crt cartridge for now.

                  Try updating from source the emulator, I think the issue might be solved in the latest upstream version.

                        @jalbarracin I rebuilt the binaries a week ago ish but I'll rebuild vice now to make sure it includes the fix.

                          New binaries should be available.

                            @buzz I'm sorry to jump in on this and send it on a tangent... But will Lr-vice get this upgrade and any idea if it will support multi-disk games anytime soon.

                            I use both simply because I like the shader and background options of Lr-vice.

                            Thanks
