      How do these work exactly? My module showed up, but it was under the RetroPie heading. How does the module get registered under the 3rd Party?

        @bluestang the image? if you didn't download and install the official image from retropie yourself, it's considered 3rd party. Purchased images are 3rd party.

          No, RetroPie recently merged some changes that allow for 3rd Party Repos in the /ext folder of RetroPie-Setup.

          Look at the 4.7.7 changes.

              @bluestang the details are in the readme in the ext folder and in commit history for the change.

                I read them, followed the folder structure, but a script I put in there shows up in the RetroPie heading...it shows up but I don't see the 3rd party heading.

                I'm using RPiOS 64-bit and a Pi4.

                I created the folder /ext/BLUESTANG/scriptmodules/supplementary and dropped a custom sdl2-dev.sh script that is largely based on the RetroPie one.

                The custom sdl2-dev.sh script does appear but it does not have its own heading (Vendor - Type).

                I guess I'm just wondering if I missed a step somewhere with the right vendor heading not showing up?

                  @bluestang maybe it's a bug. I will check.

                    If it helps, this seems to only affect the dependency scripts...I've since added other scripts and those appear without issue.
