Pokemon File Save Issues
-
I recently build my raspberry pi and downloaded Pokemon Emerald Version from somewhere to test the games features for future use. I loaded the game, saved, and then casually turned off the system completely. I turned on the raspberry pi and opened Emerald but there was no file saved. Do I need to download a safe saving feature or a different ROM?

The saves are written to the disc (sdcard) when you exit the emulator, if you shutdown your PI by turning off the power, then the emulator will not have the chance to properly save the files.
Exit the emulator normally and then shut down your Pi from the EmulationStation menu, otherwise you'll risk corrupting your sdcard and loosing data. Also, please don't post links to ROM sites, as per the foum rules.
