Melon DS on RetroPie x86

dunno if anybody was successful on this, but i read on a post back in 2017 about this working well on PC via ES. im looking to get this working when i get the chance, but has anyone had luck working on it?
ive heard this DS emu is the next best thing on the scene.recently, i accomplished running redream via ES on my x86 after being frustrated having to find out it was not supported like my other rpiโs. ๐ ๐ค๐ผ
