New to Raspberry Pi and Retropie

I just got a blank Micro SD card and as nothing on it. Do I install Raspbian throught noob first then retropie?
I am new to Raspberry Pi and retropie and have no idea what to do from a blank micro SD card.

Use RPI Imager and install RetroPie, it will download the image and write it on the sdcard - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/#installation.
