No sound for ROMS Retropie/Emulation Station

Hey friends!
I have a weird problem: The sound of my Retropie image is working perfectly for everything (splash screen, preview videos). But always when I start a game, there is no sound of it. I tried different things in the regular sound settings of ES, but still can't figure out what the problem is...
I've used a soundbar with an AUX cable If this information is required
Please help!
