      Hello all.

Wondering if someone can help me with my Amiga Save State problem...I am using UAE4ARM (I know, I know, you will probably say "use Amiberry") to play an Amiga game this evening (Super League Manager if you must know!).

I can launch and play the game by going to +Start UAE4ARM in EmulationStation and loading the .adf file into drive DF0. I made a small amount of progress and wanted to check the save states worked, so I entered the emulator menu with F12 and scrolled down to the Savestates section, and clicked 'Save State'. It saved a screenshot of the game and on I went.

However, I then went to load up that save state, clicked on 'Load State' and it loaded...literally the screenshot it took when I saved. The mouse did not react at all.

I found quite an old thread (2016) where it talked about user permissions, and followed the instructions on command line by:

      cd /opt/retropie/emulators/uae4arm
      sudo chmod 777 savestates

According to the poster, this should have enabled save states. However, I tried again and the same thing happened. Just a screenshot, with no mouse movement or input.

Over samba shares I found a .uss save state in configs/amiga/uae4arm/savestates, so it has saved something.

I copied the .uss file into the amiga roms folder, but this made no difference (even after rebooting the pi).

      I also looked at
cd /opt/retropie/emulators/uae4arm/savestates and used the ls command, and the .uss file is also there.

So...anyone know why the save state won't work? Or, more importantly, how to get it to work?

      Thank you!
