      Hello -

Maybe 50% of the time when I boot my RetroPie, nothing shows up on the display (but the Pi is on, and I can ssh to it). Previously, people recommended that I use hdmi_force_hotplug=1 in my /boot/config.txt file, and that seemed to work great.

But now it's having that same problem again. One major thing that changed was I did do an update on everything recently.

Anyone have any ideas on what else I can look into?

      I'm on:

      • Pi 4
      • RetroPie 4.7.7
      • kernel 5.10.11

I'm using 2 HDMI outputs if that matters.

      Thanks in advance.
