I have a Raspberry Pi 4 Running the latest update of everything. i switched to real KMS DRIVER and VC4 audio however this was an issue before then screen tearing is gone and my games are running great so that is a plus. However i have a perplexing audio issue. When the system first starts up all my audio in the menus is working perfectly but when i launch a game the audio stops working but this is what is weird if i go up to the tv unplug the hdmi and plug is back in the audio suddenly restores and i can play my game perfectly. then when i exit the game all audio stops working again until i go up to the tv unplug and replug the hmdi cable and its restored one again.

Any ideas i think i have tried every config trick in the book.

I've seen a few users stumbling upon the audio issue with the new VC4 audio driver. You can opt to use the previously ALSA audio and disable the new VC4 driver.

Unfortunately that does not work this error is not exclusive to the new audio driver it’s does the same thing with the ALSA audio as well.

Update with more information. So if I switch to a different TV the audio problem vanishes and it works fine without unplugging and repluging. However a different issue shows it self on the new tv. Emulation station flashes black randomly it seems to occur more during heavy scrolling and subsides if i am not moving around in emulation station at all. But in game everything works fine. Thoughts or ideas?
