      Hi folks,

my retropie C64 collection is almost completely scraped. Only few video snaps are missing, including M.U.L.E. and Druid.

Is there an easy way of making own mp4 snaps? I already tried converting youtube videos, but the aspect ratio is not 4:3, and I also need the video to fade-in like the other snaps. Any help is greatly appreciated!

      Thank you and best
      m

@maschine I think you need to install an emulator, then run the game and grab that output with OBS or similar. Then you need to edit in the fade-in fade-out with some video software such as kdenlive and then export the video as h.264 in an mp4 container.

Thank you @muldjord. I guess that is clearly beyond my capacities.

Great work on the skyscraper tool, BTW. I used that a lot and IMHO it is the best scraping tool. Well, maybe with one exception: It does not find video snaps for M.U.L.E. :)

@maschine Glad you like it. ;)

If you already have the videos downloaded from youtube, you could try installing kdenlive and messing around with it for a bit. It's quite easy to use. And it has export preconfigs for mp4 that I think will work for you.

@muldjord Thank you. I'll give that a go.
