how do i get gameboy color games to play in b/w instead?

The gameboy color games with black cartridges were compatible with the original dmg gameboy. How do i get those games to play the original gameboy’s palette? I’m using libretro/gambatte-libretro and have a pi 3b+.

Use the emulator options and change GB Colorization (to auto) and Internal palette (to GB-DMG) to mimic the DMG model (
