trackball support

just got a new arcade stick/trackball combo and everything works fine in raspbian desktop using the trackball as a mouse but when i go into emulation station and try with games it doesnt work...ive tried the suggestions online about changing the mouse setting top 0-5 ect but nothing ever works...was this solved elsewhere and i jsut cant find anything?

@avendosora You can't use the trackball to select games in ES. Which emulator(s) are you trying to use? More information would be appreciated.
