I've updated RetroPie to 4.7.11, I think from 4.7.8 using binary updates.

Is there any log on my hard disk with any details of the update, for example, what version I had previously, and perhaps which emulators were changed?

In $HOME/RetroPie-Setup/logs there are logs for each update you've made through the setup script, including what packages have been updated.
