In learning Retropie I was reminded of how it felt a bit similar to my digital book setup and the well-respected tool Calibre. Calibre lets you keep all your books in one common location and then easily copies the book and all meta data to whatever device you want with different settings for each device.

That got me wondering if such a tool exists for ROM management. I'm assuming not or else I suspect I'd have heard of it by this point. In my case we have a rather "complete" ROM collection of every single game going back to 1972 (terabytes of data). It'd be really neat if a tool existed to be able to point to that and say, "Now copy these selected platforms or games to this Retropie device with these settings" and have them go where they need to with all the correct metadata and such.

Any luck? (And no, my coding days are WAY behind me and were never that good to begin with.)
