Hmm, are you sure? For both emulation and desktop?

@omission229 I don't know about desktop apps but 2 GB of RAM is more than sufficient for any emulation you'll attempt on the pi.

Also, I have a question. For the Piboy dmg, why do you need the 4gb one if its useless?

So one thing I'm worried about. How do I connect the pi to the tv?

You'll need to convert the micro-HDMI output (on the Pi4) to full-HDMI input for the TV.

You use a cable or an adapter. It just makes the little HDMI port and the big HDMI port work together. I'm sure they have cables and adapters for sale online. You can check your preferred Internet shopping site.

Did you ever connected anything to your TV so far ? How did you do it ? HDMI is just a port in which you connect the audio/video cable. Want to read more - check out the Wiki page about it.

You can check your preferred Internet shopping site.

The 1st Amazon link posted is for a minimicroHDMI to HDMI cable, that should be enough to connect your Pi4 to the TV.

                                Yes, MICRO. Not mini.

The 8bitdo controller is a bit of a bargain. Do you know any other bluetooth controllers for cheaper? Also how do I pair it with the pi?

It's explained in the docs - through the setup script.

For the pairing, it says that you can select the mac address from the list but how do I find it?

@omission229 Usually the name of the device is displayed, so it will be enough to select it.
I suggest you first get your Pi and then follow https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/ to install it. If you have questions then and you can't find the answer in the docs, then come ask in the forums.
