Install package as binary?
-
I've installed packages via
./retropie_packages.sh package-name
But this seems to work only for getting sources and compiling (by default, at least). Is there any way to add
--binary
or something so it won't waste time and resources? I googled and also looked at the docs but nothing so far.And I know this can be done via
retropie_setup.sh
but it would be very nice to have this way as well. Thanks in advance.

Try
sudo ./retropie_packages.sh package-name install_bin sudo ./retropie_packages.sh package-name configure

That was quick. I'll try that tomorrow morning, thanks a lot!

@mitu for what I need, it seems this does the trick:
~/RetroPie-Setup/retropie_packages.sh pkg depends ~/RetroPie-Setup/retropie_packages.sh pkg install_bin
