    chex quest on retropie is this possible if so how

      @edmaul69 As with most ports, getting the full version running isn't straightforward though Wolf4SDL can be done in 5-10 minutes.

      First, place the game data, the files with *.wl6 extension, in /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/ports/wolf3d/. This is the same folder as the shareware version (the *.wl1 files).

      DOS file names tend to be upper case so you will have to rename the game data to lower case for Wolf4SDL to work. This can be done from the command line rather than manually (check the wiki on how to do this).

      Finally, you need to select the appropriate Wolf4SDL binary depending on which version of game data you have, Apogee 1.4 or GT/ID/Activision. How to do this is explained in the wiki.

        @dudleydes yeah i got it working. I had to chown the /home/pi/roms folder back to pi owner and from there i got wolfenstein full version working great. I did have to google to learn about the lowercase. Now my next thing when i wake up will be to work on hexen series and chex quest.
