So when I installed retropie, it came with a TI99 folder and I put .ctg files in said folder. Do I still need to download the actual emulator still? I put the TI-994a.ctg , spchrom.dat , ti-994a.data and spchrom.bin files in a folder I created called TI99 at /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS but the games still won't play. What am I missing?

If its a bios issue you need to put the bios files directly in the bios folder. But i would still go into the retropie-setup and downoad/redownload the emulator to eliminate any issues that might have
