      Hi All :)

I am trying to make an Adafruit PiGRRL but their image (https://learn.adafruit.com/pigrrl-2/software) is using a really old Wheezy install, so I tried to take the latest RetroPie image and install the PiTFT drivers (https://learn.adafruit.com/running-opengl-based-games-and-emulators-on-adafruit-pitft-displays?view=all#pitft-setup) onto it but that didn't work. So I next tried to use an image which had the PiTFT (from https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-pitft-28-inch-resistive-touchscreen-display-raspberry-pi/easy-install) and then installing RetroPie from the script. It all seems to have installed but when I load Emulationstation it just shows a blank screen with a flashing cursor. :(

So far I am having no luck getting any of this to work! Has anyone done a PiGRRL and got it working? If so how did you do it?

Turns out that there is an issue with the DIY install for the latest versions of the Raspbian and Ada fruit are looking into it.

I'll have to get by on the older version they have in the pre-made Wheezy image for the time being.
