I'm having difficulty running the english translation of Hanagumi Taisen Columns 2 for the Dreamcast in RetroPie. Whether I use the GDI version or a compressed CHD, the game does not work in either Redream or lr-flycast. The Dreamcast bios loads, but the game doesn't start. It's the same behaviour in both emulators. However, I've tried the same patched file in Redream on my Mac and the game works just fine. Also, the unpatched game works in RetroPie without a problem. I didn't see anything in runcommand.log that would indicate why it's not working, and I ran it with verbose logging.

@g30ff I found some discussion for this particular translation stating that the emulated (HLE) BIOS must be used in order to get it to run. Is that the BIOS you are using?

I am also known as "StormedBubbles"

@chaoseffect I was using an official BIOS. After switching to the HLE bios, it now loads. Thank you so much!
