      Hello,

I have a RaspBerry 3 Model B with RetroPie 3.8.1 installed and I'm trying to use my official Wiimote to navigate through the menus and play some roms, but no matter how much I try it, I can't do it.

First of all, I followed this tutorial to connect a Wiimote to the RaspBerry Pi and everything went great. The controller communicated with the RPi3 and recognized every single button I pressed.

So, after this success, I have followed this other guide (Method 1 - Option B) to get my Wiimote to work with RetroPie to no avail. I have checked every single line of code several times, so there isn't any unintended typo on the instructions I have typed, but EmulationStation doesn't "see" my Wiimote.

I have searched the forums looking for an answer, but I haven't found any other case exactly like mine. So this is why I'm asking it. I hope someone can help my out.

      Thanks in advance.

@Rabash Did you ever manager to solve this problem? I've followed the Robo-Butler guide as well, and the python script picks up all button presses on the wiimote, but when I get to the gamepad configuration screen in RetroPie, it says "1 Gamepad detected", but pressing buttons does absolutely nothing...
