Distorted sound, screeching at times, and the issue seems to only manifest itself with this particular game, other PSP games run perfectly fine and without audio issues.
It also runs fairly decent performancewise, only the audio seems to be the issue in this instance. I have tried both PAL and NTSC iso.

I would suggest looking here first to see if its a known issue. If not, then make a issue report so the PPSSPP devs can look into it.

I don't think it is a known issue as I have seen other people emulate it, even on a Pi 3. I feel like I am missing something here but I don't know what. The graphics are smooth and the FPS is stable, but the sound is driving me insane.

@vanmakt It happens exactly to me, it looks new the new emulator update just messed with that game in particular, sadly we cannot rollback emulator versions...

@hunksurvivorx Agree it's something to do with the newest update. It was perfect before because I played it briefly back in july. Playing it with the latest build and the sounds is terrible and even screeching at times.
