      I'm using a raspberry pi 4 8gb model and I have a few questions.

      1. What should I set vram to in emulation station. The comic book theme seems laggy even without video.
      2. When I'm using the sn30 controller and recently my PS4 controllers the whole system is very laggy. Games lag. And the emulation station lags so much I can barely select a game. If I use the old sn30 it seems to work help please

Do you have any custom case for your pi 4? the cables to the controller in the case I'm using is not properly shielded so that might cause bluetooth interference. I have experienced laggy input with my SN30 Pro as well. Sometimes more, sometimes less. It makes the whole system seem laggy but in my case this was laggy input.

First of all, you could try to update your firmware https://support.8bitdo.com . I know there was one update that corrected an issue with bluetooth interference:

        2. Fixed the problem of interfering with other Bluetooth devices when the gamepad is connecting via Bluetooth.

Keep in mind that you need to pair it and configure the controller again when you update the firmware.

I'm using it wired when playing games and wireless mostly when doing stuff in the UI.

@crimson0087 You could try the above solutions and see if that helps, don't know anything about the flirc case but you could try to see if the post below also solves your issues, look at the post by @luedi :
