Raspberry pi 4 (3.5amp power supply)
EGStarts Zero Delay boards and register as DragonFire USB Controllers

Ok, so I'm trying to figure out what diode I should use for wiring up an exit game button. I am going to hook this one arcade button into the start and select buttons using t-taps, but I need to prevent the current from flowing both ways so that the start and select buttons will still work. I'm just not sure what diodes I should look at getting to handle the job.

Anyone have any suggestions? Electrical engineering is not my forte. :)

@discgolferusa Do you use other hotkey functions or just to exit games?

@cnoto yep wanted to leave it usable in case we needed it.

@discgolferusa Lol. I'm not sure I understand if you use the other hotkey functions OR you just exit out of games. One thing I did was wired one button to two different connections on the zero delay and I mapped those to button inputs I wasn't planning on using (ie l2 and r2). I then mapped the hotkey to l2 and exit emulator to r2 (by changing the file in retroarch). Effectively making it a one button game exit. This option does however, eliminate the use of the other hotkey functions.

            Clarified above

@cnoto Yeah, I wanted to make sure that save and load would still work, unless I'm thinking about how they work incorrectly.
