      Pi4 Running latest retropie
      256gb sdcard
Showing 12gb space , and 96 percent used root.

I have seen other posts on this but I was wondering if anybody here knows exact answer.

I want to keep it all running without causing problems with the system.

      Thanks
      Sim

@simrose 12 gb is fine to keep it running. For normal usage only the system needs to have room for some temporary files here and there. And the emulators might create save state files. Other than that, you will be fine.

I would keep it at above 8 gigs or so though. Just because I like to have some spare room for new scraping data and such.
