LR-MAME 2016 CPU SETTING?
-
Roslof's RetroPie testing guide says to change the CPU speed for Street Fighter EX using LR-MAME 2016. I can't find this setting anywhere. I tried tab. I tried the Retroarch menus. I've Googled it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Have you tried looking in the Core Options menu in RetroArch ?
-
@mitu Of course. Nothing to change the CPU speed there.

@drdave79 how old is your lr-mame2016 core ? maybe update it (from sources)

@barbudreadmon Updated to 1.8.5. MAME 2016 (0.174). Took 1.5 hours. I see a CPU Overclock option (honestly not sure if it was there before or not). Changed it to 70 as per Roslof's suggestion. Game is still pretty sluggish with choppy sound. I'm assuming that's because it's 3D rendered and too much for the P4 to handle.

Benchmarks are on overclocked Pi 4Bs. Mileage may vary with the recommendations. Keep playing w/ the CPU setting. You may find something that works better. Frameskip is always an option, but for a fighter, I'm not a fan. So overclocking is my personal preference.

@roslof Thanks Roslof. I didn't know your spreadsheet already reflected an overclocked Pi.
